Recently, we bought the KYT TT Revo helmet, priced at around ₹8500, from @modernhatwork, an authorized KYT dealer in Hyderabad,Telangana. The helmet was for my friend @rizwannawaz, who was all set to wear it on our upcoming monsoon ride. He was genuinely excited as the TT Revo looks aggressive, feels premium and is lightweight, which makes it a great pick for short/long rides.

First Ride And an Unexpected Problem

As we headed out for a short ride in the rain, something unexpected happened. We noticed water leaking into the helmet from the top of the visor. At first, we thought it might be a one-off incident. But when we looked closely, we found a noticeable gap between the visor and the rubber gasket, the part that’s supposed to keep water out.

This wasn’t just a little drizzle getting in, water was actually seeping in enough to feel uncomfortable and distracting. Obviously, not something you want when you're riding in heavy monsoon weather.

What We Found Out

We immediately contacted @kythelmetsindia and also revisited the dealer to see if we got a faulty piece. To our surprise, all the TT Revo helmets at the dealership had the same issue of water leaking from the top of the visor due to the same gap.

It was disappointing, especially since we had high expectations from KYT. But what happened next really showed the company’s character.

The Solution - KYT India Steps In

KYT India acknowledged the issue as a manufacturing defect. Without any excuses, they asked us to send the helmet to their headquarters in Bangalore and assured us that they would handle it. Even better they covered the shipping costs which i was expecting, obviously.

We packed up the helmet and shipped it out. From the day we reported the issue to the day we received the replacement, the whole process took around 15 days, which was quite fast considering the logistics involved.

We got the replacement helmet 4 days before our big ride. Just enough time to get used to it and break it in a bit. The new helmet? Absolutely flawless.

No water leak.
Perfect fit.
Visor seal tight and smooth.
Everything as it should be.

Real World Test – 6 Days, 2000+ km

We wore the new helmet for 6 straight days on the road, covering over 2000+ kilometers through changing weather, rain, wind, long highway stretches and hair pin bend ghat roads. The helmet performed perfectly.

• Comfort was great even after long hours.

• Weight Distribution is amazing, you can barely feel the weight.

• Ventilation worked well, keeping us cool and fog-free.

• Wind protection was solid at highway speeds.

• And most importantly no leaks, even in rain.

It’s one thing to like a helmet in the showroom, and another to trust it after real-world riding. The TT Revo proved itself.

Final Thoughts

Yes, the first unit had a problem but what matters most is how a brand handles it. And KYT India handled it like pros. No hassle, no blame game, just quick, professional customer service that fixed the problem completely.

After 6 Years with Rynox Advento, Here’s Why I Switched to Viaterra Miller

If you’ve been riding for a while, you know how tough it is to find gear that fits just right. For the past six years, my trusted companion on countless rides was the Rynox Advento riding pants. They were perfect fit, comfortable, and built like a tank. Honestly, those pants went through everything with me: blazing summer rides, long touring days, and even those unexpected monsoon showers.

But after six solid years, I knew it was time for an upgrade. Naturally, I went back to Rynox because, well… they’ve always been reliable. This time, I tried their current options the Tornado Pro and the new Advento Pro. And here’s where things took a turn.

The Problem with the New Rynox Lineup

Both the Tornado Pro and Advento Pro are feature-rich, no doubt about that. But when I put them on, the fit just didn’t feel right. They were bulky in some areas, loose in others, and for someone with a lean frame like mine, it felt like wearing a size too big even though it was technically the right size.

The original Advento had that perfect balance of snug fit without feeling restrictive, and sadly, nothing in their current lineup comes close. Honestly, I was a little disappointed that Rynox discontinued the OG Advento. That pant was a gem!

Enter Viaterra, The Search Continues

Next, I decided to give Viaterra a shot. I started with the Miller pants, and wow, what a difference! Straight out of the box, the fit and finish impressed me. Tailored, snug, and clearly built well. But here’s the thing: Miller is more of a street-oriented pant, and I wanted something more touring-friendly. That’s when I came across the Viaterra Kruger.

Unfortunately, finding the Kruger in size S locally was impossible. So, I ordered it directly from Viaterra’s official website. Big shoutout to them for their amazing return policy, you can return it for any reason, and they only deduct a tiny 2% payment gateway fee. That kind of customer support is rare these days and super helpful when you can’t try gear in-store.

Kruger vs Miller – The Fit Issue Again

When the Kruger arrived, I was excited… but the fit? Not so much. The size S in Kruger was roomier than the S in Miller. Again, not ideal for my body type. If Viaterra had an XS in Kruger, that would probably be perfect but sadly, that size doesn’t exist yet. So, I returned the Kruger (super smooth process, by the way) and decided to stick with the Miller.

Picked it up locally from one of my favorite riding gear stores, @dynamicryderz here in Hyderabad.

6 Days, 2500+ Kilometers Later - My Thoughts on the Miller

After six consecutive days of riding in the Miller, here’s what I think:

• Comfort – Absolutely on point. No hot spots, no restriction, just a comfortable fit throughout long hours in the saddle.

• Ventilation – Impressive airflow. Rode through some hot weather, and it never felt like a sauna.

• Protection – Solid confidence with their Level 2 armor. Didn’t feel bulky, which is a big win for me.

For a pant that’s more street-focused, it held up really well during touring. I honestly didn’t expect that level of comfort and performance on long rides.

Will I still consider the Kruger if XS becomes available? Absolutely! But for now, the Viaterra Miller is doing an excellent job.

Still, a part of me wishes Rynox hadn’t killed the OG Advento. That pant was something special. If they ever bring it back, I’ll be first in line.

After six long years, it was finally time. My RX135’s trusty old Michelin Sirac Street tyres had served me faithfully through city traffic, highway runs, and even a few dirt detours. But the rear tyre had gone flat in the center, the rubber felt stiff, and with a 2500 km monsoon ride just around the corner, I knew I couldn’t push it any further.

Time for new tyres.

The Problem: Sirac Street Is Discontinued

That’s when I hit the first bump Sirac Street is no longer in production. And let’s be honest, not many other tyres in the 18" category match what Siracs offered. They were a sweet spot between road grip and light touring/off-road confidence. Finding a worthy replacement wasn’t easy.

Michelin launches The Anakee Cross!

After some digging, I stumbled upon the Michelin Anakee Cross. It’s being marketed as a dual-sport tyre, and in many ways, it’s the modern successor to the Sirac. I was a bit unsure though the tread looked more aggressive, and I had my doubts:
Would it hum at high speed?
Would it handle the rain?
Would it spoil the classic RX ride feel?

Despite the hesitation, I decided to take a chance.

Tyre Sizes I Installed:

• Front: 2.75-18

• Rear: 3.00-18

First Impressions – Better Than Expected

The moment I rolled out of the shop with the new set, I could feel the difference. The tyres felt soft and grippy that classic Michelin feel. But the real test came over the next week, with rain-soaked roads, slippery city traffic, twisty ghat sections, and everything in between.

And I’ll say this straight up: I’m impressed.

What I Liked:

• Grip: Whether on wet tarmac or slightly loose gravel, the Anakee Cross sticks. I didn’t expect it to be this planted in the rain, but even in those sketchy monsoon patches, it held on confidently.

• Ride Feel: The RX feels stable, even with these slightly more aggressive treads. At highway speeds, there’s no wobble or weird vibrations. The transition from lean to upright in corners is smooth and predictable.

• Tyre Noise: Practically non-existent. I thought the block pattern would create a hum, but nope  it’s as quiet as any regular street tyre.

• Looks: This might be subjective, but the tyres look mean. The slightly rugged pattern gives the RX135 a more serious, go-anywhere stance without looking out of place.

Things to Watch (So Far, Nothing Major):

It’s still early days, so I can’t speak for longevity just yet. Michelin tyres usually wear a bit faster than harder compounds, but the comfort and grip trade-off is worth it for me. No punctures, no uneven wear, and no signs of cracking, so far, so good.

Final Verdict

If you’ve been hunting for a Sirac Street replacement for your RX or any similar 18" inch tyres for your motorcycle, the Michelin Anakee Cross is a solid contender. It grips well, rides smooth, handles rain confidently, and makes your bike look ready for anything.

I got a pair of these tyres for ₹4400 (Prices may vary depending on the location, availability,etc), it’s a solid investment for anyone planning long rides, touring, or even just wanting better safety in unpredictable conditions.

Would I recommend them? Absolutely. Small change, but a huge confidence boost on every ride.

After six years of using regular sports base layers under my riding gear, I finally made the switch – and honestly, I should’ve done this a long time ago.

For most of my rides over the years, I’ve relied on Decathlon’s Run Dry T-shirts and base layer pants. They did the job… sort of. They’re made for running and general fitness, not for being squished inside a riding jacket for 10 hours a day. They were always a bit bulky, sleeves would bunch up, and by the end of a long ride, they’d feel sticky and uncomfortable. But I got used to them, thinking “this is just how it is.”

Rynox offered the right fit for me (₹3000 for the pair), and now that I’ve used them, I don’t regret the extra spend at all. The quality feels premium, the stitching is solid, and after six continuous days of use, there was zero discomfort. No rashes, no bad smell, nothing. Just dry, breathable comfort.

Another unexpected perk? My regular T-shirts don’t end up drenched in sweat anymore. These base layers take the hit, and that’s one less thing to worry about post-ride.

Final thoughts:
If you ride regularly, whether that’s weekend getaways, commutes, or long-distance touring upgrading to proper riding base layers is a game changer. It's a small piece of gear, but it makes a massive difference in comfort. And in hot, sweaty Indian riding conditions, that's saying something.

The Rynox Vapour Pro has definitely earned a permanent place in my riding kit. This is one of those rare upgrades where you instantly feel the difference and wonder why you didn’t do it sooner. Highly recommended. Worth every rupee.

Rynox recently launched their 100% Waterproof Socks and It was just about time for my monsoon rides to start. I've been waiting for an Indian brand to launch waterproof socks in India because all foreign brands are quite expensive when it comes to anything that is waterproof. I was initially planning to go for sealskinz waterproof socks but those are expensive (You can get those for somewhere around 8K-12K INR, Including shipping) but Thanks to Rynox, I now have the H2GO waterproof socks. Rynox were kind enough to send these socks for me to test them,  shoot a review video and I did just that. This is not a sponsored review, my reviews have always been honest and will continue to do so in the future as well.

I Tested these waterproof socks in water, wore them without the riding boots just to test them out (Do not wear them without shoes because it may damage the waterproof membrane. I did this because I was testing the socks and was shooting a video) After testing them for about 10-15mins the socks got wet on the OUTSIDE but even then the sock doesn't let the water inside because it has a waterproof membrane. so the waterproof membrane has a height of 30cms and anything beyond 30cms the water might seep in but 30 cms is more than enough for keeping you safe from water because you don't really need more than 30cms of height for trekking, offroading, riding in the rain etc. I tried my best to get the water inside and I must say I failed! These are 100% waterproof! Also, these socks are very comfortable so it's not going to be a problem when you ride long distances but because it is waterproof, sweaty feet would be an uncomfortable situation if your wearing this on a hot, humid or a sunny day (Why would you wear waterproof socks on a sunny day? lol). 

Conclusion : Get your pair of Rynox H2GO waterproof socks and You won't be disappointed. I've been looking for a budget mobile holder under 1000 rupees from quite sometime now, but there are some Chinese knockoff's of the ram mount and I do not trust the build quality of those mobile holders. Also I did not want to get into any trouble by getting a cheap quality mobile holder, So I stumbled upon the Bobo Claw grip and ordered it for 1,400 Rupees from Amazon. It is selling for around 1,350 as of now. 

I received the mobile holder in just a day and was surprised by the fit and finish of the product. I then slowly started using the mobile holder, First on my Hero Impulse and as I slowly gained confidence on the quality of the mobile holder, I also used it on my RX135, RX100 and my old 2stroke Jawa 250. 

I am very happy with the mobile holder and It is sturdy even at 90-110kmph speeds. I usually ride 2strokes and I barely go above 110Kmph speed. For my kind of riding I found Bobo claw grip to be very sturdy. It is also very compact and fitting the mobile just takes a minute or two. It is hands down the best mobile holder under 1500 Rupees. I definitely recommend anyone to go for it.

Yamaha RX100 VS RX135, Which is more powerful? This is the most common question I get asked everytime, literally everytime. People are confused whether to choose the RX100 or RX135. I have ridden both RX's and I like the RX100 for it's initial power and RX135 for its refined, smooth engine with amazing top end. I miss the iconic exhaust sound (of the RX100) on the RX135 though. You can never get the iconic beautiful exhaust sound of the RX100 in RX135 because of the engine, so if you are mad about the mesmerizing exhaust sound of the RX100 you will have to get the RX100, But the RX135 is a more practical motorcycle, RX100 is great for city riding but once you leave the city and head onto the highway you feel that the engine feels stressed at high rpms while you're doing somewhere around 80-90kmph. 

Presenting The All Original 1961 Jawa 250cc Type 353 Motorcycle, This motorcycle is in Hyderabad, Telangana, India and It is one of the finest looking Jawa's in the country. I was lucky enough to ride it for a few days and made tons of memories with the motorcycle.

If you notice, This Jawa even has the famous skirt mudguard along with the original monograms on left side and right side. There are many rare parts on the motorcycle like the original extra light on the handlebar, front and rear bigger drums also known as milling hubs, aluminum center stand, full aluminum number plates, tank switch, tank cap, milometer, etc which make this jawa absolutely beautiful.I have seen many jawa's till date but nothing like this old beauty.
